Well i've always thought that public holidays and weekends r for relaxing after a totally tough week. Im wrong i see. Obviously holidays r no longer supposed to be relaxing, as those r the times when teachers think we have lots of unwanted time on our hands, and give us tons of homeworks and assignments. And the school obviously thinks that the school holidays r the times when we have too much time, and we're gonna waste then without studying, so they put the block tests right after the holidays, to keep us busy in the holidays.
Well, what about our own rights? Holidays r times when students like us take breaks from studying too much, and to refill our brain-juice. We should not spend them on so much school work. "School" holidays obviously means taking a break from school. But we still end up doing school stuff anyway.
Well, i just still think we should have more relaxing holidays, wish we could have more time to go out with friends.
